		<description>Yeah, Alexander, I read that after I wrote this post, as well as this one: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/how_open_is_facebook_really.php which is an interesting look as well.

These both gave me some pause. I'm not entirely sure what I think, yet - because, truth be told, all of that online data I talked about is also in pretty closed proprietary platforms, so if I were really religious about openness, I might actually not end up using any of them. Which may or may not, be a good thing. I'm not sure.

For me, even though I use some of the social networking platforms, I'm still not utterly convinced of their usefulness - and I know they aren't really open.</description>
